5 Easy Marketing Tips for Healthcare Professionals
Developing a marketing plan can be stressful and time consuming, but it doesn't have to be. There are five easy marketing tips for healthcare professionals that only require a small budget and a short amount of time. Plus, they are stress-free as well!
1. Get personal. Take the time to send out a few personal notes to current members. Set a goal to send out five to ten notes per week. A personal note is highly effective, especially among patients because they want to know their doctor cares. Even better, get on the phone and call them instead.
2. Newsletters. Newsletters are simple and a great way to announce special offers, upcoming event and accomplishments. Send out a monthly or quarterly newsletter for new and current members to remain engaged with your practice/business.
3. Media attention. Contact local television stations and local papers to share human interest stories, articles you've published, press releases, letters to the editor and any upcoming events or workshops.
4. Build an alliance. Set a goal for yourself to develop an alliance or connections within the healthcare field. Try to meet a certain number of new people each week or month to establish connections within the industry. Remember, to keep in touch once you've met them!
5. Get involved. Get involved in the community. Participate in local events or activities you’re passionate about. This will not only aid your business/practice, but you’ll often gain the support of your community as well.
These are very simple steps you can take to promote your marketing efforts a little further.
